2010 Thailand's textile export value will increase 15.2% year-on-year

Last year, the total value of Thailand’s textile and garment exports reached 7.278 billion US dollars, accounting for 1.3% of the global market rate. It is worth about 500 billion U.S. dollars. Thai textiles have great growth opportunities in the ASEAN market. Countries from ASEAN countries will develop into ASEAN economic communities and promote ASEAN as an important global market and production base.

ASEAN textile industry ** Possa pointed out that the ASEAN textile industry alliance has worked with textile producers in Thailand and Indonesia to find garment production partners in Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Vietnam to strengthen the stability of ASEAN textile production companies, and to Compete with other countries in Asia.

The improvement in the stability of ASEAN producers will help deal with issues such as exchange rate fluctuations and the lack of raw materials, because textile manufacturers in the ASEAN region can meet the needs of customers in the ASEAN region.

Ponsa revealed that at present, textile manufacturers in the ASEAN region have promoted 14 pairs of trading partners and held meetings on October 5-7, 2010, raising the number of trading partners to 20 pairs.
