The Dolce & Gabbana brand's logo comes from the names of its two founders, Domenico Dolce (right, born in 1958) and Stefano Gabbana (left, born in 1962). Their fashion store is headquartered in Milan, and together with Gucci and Prada and other brands to rejuvenate the Italian fashion industry.
